Many myths and legends surround Glastonbury in Somerset, UK, or the Isle of Avalon to use the ancient name. Lots of mystical shops and vegetarian restaurants are to be found there today! The Abbey below is connected with stories of Joseph of Arimathea and also King Arthur.

At the foot of the Tor there are two springs - the White Spring and the Chalice well which is situated in a beautiful and sacred garden. The Chalice Well water is slightly red in colour and is renowned for its healing properties.
